I would think that Fischer has no real clue as to the Israeli situation (most
people, myself included, do not).

Fischer has the same problem that Hitler did. They both took a small group of
individuals that had created problems for themselves, put a label to those
people, and then generalized that to all people with that label. In the case of
Fischer, it was a group of businessmen who he perceived took advantage of him
and his name. Since wealthy businessmen can be mistakenly (or correctly)
perceived as being Jewish, Fischer in his paranoia has generalized for the
entire set of Jewish peoples. Hitler did the same thing in his paranoia. He
mistook the decisions of the German ruling elite as the Jewish armament
merchants in Berlin making the decisions for extending WWI (and hence resulting
in the deaths and injuries of his fellow soldiers), and hated all Jews because
of it. It's sad to see how otherwise intelligent human beings can within their
own loneliness and paranoia extend their hatreds to others.

I do not think that counselling will help Fischer. He is probably too far gone
(and like Hitler, he has a bunch of yes men feeding his manias). I do not think
he will ever recover.
