CEGT test on something equivalent to 40/40 on PIV 2 ghz PIV is known to be slow for chess so there is no significant difference in the hardware. CEGT also test without pondering so I think that CEGT time control is equivaelnt to something like 30 minutes/40 moves in ssdf conditions. 40 minutes/40 moves with PIV2000(no pondering) are equivalent to 45 minutes/40 moves in A1200(no pondering) and it is equivaelnt to 30 minutes/40 moves in A1200 (with pondering).
