We do not disagree. I critizise it too. I only wanted to express that this
SMK-Chess960-FEN thing is NOT a ChessBase thing. Fritz supports shuffle chess,
2880 positions, (I do not remember since which version), but not the very
specific Fischer Random rules, so far.

For odds games, I think there is no problem when they come with a P = starting
from a setup position. There are additional tags [setup "1"] and the FEN in the
header, but any GUI which understands PGN, won't have a problem with that.  This
is perfectly correct according to the PGN specifications.
