Rather, the authors are aware of the high intelligence and educational level of
the French audience.  The German and English speaking audiences will be
completely helpless unless spoon-fed instructions in their own language.
However, the French will obviously be able to cope with nearly any language
thrown their way.

Clearly, it is all others who are despised.
