Stefan,

this is interesting for me
i am waging a two front war here
if you read some of Uli's replies to my posts,he is arguing that games against
PC's should be considered in the Rating of Res-Fruit05
at lease you an i agree that only dedicated units are interesting to match up
:))

Micha (chessguru) proved it with some games. The
>same is true for the 32 MHz machine the hardware it is identical with the R30 I
>guess and when you run the chess machine with the King 2.2 you have a R30 2.2. I
>guess the Chess Machines are really the cross betwen the "good old days" and the
>"modern world". They are neither fish nor fowl...

yes but i prefer only FISH in your ratings pool
:))

well i guess different collectors are interested in different things
this goes to the heart of my collecting philosophy
i personally have no interest in collecting modified computers or prototypes

most collectors feel this way but its true that some do not
and of course i am greatly interested in the ratings of the high-end computers
in my collection

for the really early computers the ratings are not so important

but i am only one man in a far away country and i of course cannot change what
has already been decided on

so i will go on my lonley thankless way and complain a little here and there

:))

Best Regards
Steve
