The version I used was Crafty version 19.19.
And I ran it from normal start position.
That illegal move came while it searches the first move(e4) and second move
and so on.

I just compiled version 20.1 and ran it.
I got the same problem as before.
Illegal move came just from the first move and so on.
The only thing I did was deleting EGTB by defining NOEGTB.
Because you did not put any debug statement in case of illegal hash move,
maybe you didn't notice that.
Why don't you try yourself?
