It mentioned that the chip was PPC based, but didnt know it's a G5 :) woohoo..
how long till there's a Darwin port ;)

All in all this is something I'm going to look into. I'm going back to college
so money is tight.

$1k-2k+ for a dual cpu or dual core (let alone dual core dual cpu G5 like the
new Mac).

    or

$350 for 3 core PPC 64bit 3.2ghz in a small form factor.

Worse case if it doesn't work well I'd still have a nice gaming system. :)

On an off note, it is possible to create a cluster using gaming consoles. I read
last year where a researcher was able to build a linux beowulf cluster using the
original Xbox's.
