Otherwise people would have long complained here ;) I tested it under the below mentioned GUI and my conclusion is that 1...Nc6?? will be never played neither in tournament, nor in optimal, and not even in handicap mode, because the stats are much too bad to be considered(despite the strange meaningless '!!'). Everyone can test this in his CB GUI...you can never get this answer after 1.e4, except one manipulates something in the book options or book by hand. You will only get 4 answers for Black in tournament mode and 7 possible answers in optimal mode after 1.e4 and none of them is 1...Nc6?? Conclusion: At least a setup flaw by book options/book manipulation Guenther ASv3.ctg book reproduced with F8 GUI January 2005: ------------------------------------------------ Move N(Freq) %(Score) % to be played (tournament mode) ------------------------------------------------ 1...e5! 760 51 29.2 1...c5! 1055 49 48.9 1...c6!! 193 48 12.6 1...Nf6?? 27 43 0.0 1...e6! 328 48 9.1 1...d6! 83 45 0.0 1...g6! 32 48 0.0 1...d5! 27 48 0.0 1...b6 4 25 0.0 1...Nc6!! 7 14 0.0 1...Nh6 1 0 0.0 ------------------------------------------------ Move N(Freq) %(Score) % to be played (optimal mode) ------------------------------------------------ 1...e5! 760 51 25.8 1...c5! 1055 49 29.5 1...c6!! 193 48 14.0 1...Nf6?? 27 43 0.0 1...e6! 328 48 14.0 1...d6! 83 45 6.7 1...g6! 32 48 5.0 1...d5! 27 48 4.6 1...b6 4 25 0.0 1...Nc6!! 7 14 0.0 1...Nh6 1 0 0.0 -------------------------------------------------
