You beat me to the punch, Gunther. Tho Nc6 granted is an opening with a name, i agree it is highly questionable, and at best the worst of acceptable ones. that out of the way, I plugged in the asv3 book with Fruit 2.2.1 and tried 325 times to get Fruit to open with 1... Nc6. No go. He wouldnt even consider it. Regards, George
