Hi Uri, the advantage with Harry´s suite is that all lines are handpicked and tested by Harry Schnapp, who is by the way a very good chess player. They are chosen with many considerations and not only put togehter more or less randomly. I mean you can also compose a book by just taking MegaBase or something like that, give average opposition ELO of 2600 and set some weights. Even I could do this. This is exactly what Harry does not. He evalutated each single line and tested it to make sure that there is no big advantage for one side. No quick threefold repetitions after being out of the pregiven line. They mainly stop at a point where engines have to show to "understand" it. 220 positions with 8 moves (16 plies), 220 more with seventeen plies to avoid doubles when used as a book. There will be bigger suites and books I assume, but for this one I am really considering to use them in a way I did with Nunn positions in former times. I am watching games for weeks now with this suite and I am really impressed by the quality of the suite and by Harry´s dedicated work. Best Regards Heinz
