Thanks Thomas for your time and effort in improving the Fruit 2.1 open source. Toga 1.1 is a definite improvement over Fruit 2.1. I agree with everything you stated and am also dissapointed in some of the comments criticizing you. In light of the latest trend of engines going commercial I think you missed one important fact. Toga 1.1 is about 100 points higher than the next highest active amature engine(fruit 2.1 being dead)and right up there with the pros. Perhaps this is not in the best interests of the computer chess community. I was saddened to hear that you will stop work on Toga and personally feel that you are playing into their hands by doing so. Again, thanks for your hard work, it was appreciated. Paul
