Hi Geoff - if you could post the wacnew.epd in reply I'll be able to diff and
know for sure. I am not sure.

The test time varied but is really under your control. I chose 1 second per
suite position up to 5 seconds for the overnight. The only rationale is to
get a reasonable test for multiple mobility bonuses in a reasonable time.

The current best is mobility_bonus=30, i.e. 20 moves for white and 15 moves
for black in this position would give a bonus of 150 (30*(20-15)) and that
is against a pawn value of 1000.

The test is not really comprehensive enough yet so the above is just for
my program with its pc/sq values and standard positon values and doesn't
give more value for the mobility of queen vs. knight, or other similar
arrangements.

I'll be eager to hear your practical game and testsuite results from mobility
experimentation.
