I see know, that your program wants the input row reversed to mine (I think, this was not specified in the test). It did solve the mates now, when I reversed it beside the promotion. You don't handle those, correct? (I did not understand your move generation fast ...). With so little specification: I wonder, how they would have tested it ... The cone problem isn't formulated well, either. Regards, Dieter
