It's sad to read such statements from you who always tried to support a scientific standard in the debates. Uri, I see you are twisting the former topic. It's not the question if he loses money, the question is, and you and also Albert with many others seem to miss this point, if a commercial programmer and his customers should hold a support-like scenario at the costs of the host of CCC in special in violating the charter which says that advertising shouldnt happen. Here the publishing of versions on a (almost) daily base is in itself advertisement because the support and download of Rybka could well be proceeded in the particularly existing forum for the Rybka customers. Here in CCC it's _only_ held to recrute more and not yet informed clients. And this is a classical advertising. It's beyond me that Vas didnt discover it before. Neither Shredder, nor Fritz, nor Junior are misusing CCC this way. >It is possible that Steve will have to close this message board but >I do not care about steve Of course that reveils now why you are in such a desinterest for the costs of Steve. It's interesting that you are supporting another businessman against Steve and the Rybka customers against all other CCC members who are interested in many more engines and questions of computerchess. I think it's very decent of you to state your motivation for your actual opinions. Thanks, Uri, respect from my side. >and it is possible to post in another forum if posting >in this message board costs too much to steve(for example the winboard forum). However this now seems to rely on a logical mistake. Winboard is fine and a valuable part of computerchess, but it's not comparable with computerchess as such that is discussed in CCC. You will hopefully re-think this. > >Uri
