I am not arguing with you. Surely it would be good if such a software existed,
however, they do, and I use my chess engines as a training tool. The only
software I don't have, and I plan to get is Chessbase 7. It does not matter if
someone created such a program because it will not train the user period, no
matter what. Motivation and clearly defined goals are the keys to training. And
would the program know that you need training a specific area, even if the
program makes such suggestion of training, I'll bet that the user would disagree
with the suggestion and refuse to follow up in the training. Human nature never
changes, it's like searching for El Dolrado, or, if only if I had ..... (you
fill in the blanks) my life would be easier.
I believe that the software engines and database available nowadays are all the
tools necessary to train and if one uses it properly can easily achieve master
or grandmaster status. The key is hard work and honesty self analysis. :)
