The G 233 is not so slow by any means. It is faster then a PII 333 and almost as fast as a PII 350. If the match were being played only a few month ago who could bitch about that. Hiarcs7 will play fine on a g 233, if the top programs are GM strength on the faster PII as many people think. It will play at GM strength on a G233. Hiarcs7 running on a PIII 550 vs G 233 will be worth only 1/2 point in a six game match. If Hiarcs7 gets crushed playing on a G233, Hiarcs7 would get crushed on a PIII 550. Only on a close match would the faster chip swing the match in Hiarcs7 favor, a 2.5 point loss would now be drawn, and a 3-3 tie you could argue would be a win for Hiarcs7 on a PIII 550.
