Yes, that's what I did, for instance, on IGS (Internet Go Server), which forbids registration from freemail accounts. I have never caused any trouble at all there, so why can't I use freemail if I choose to do so? I open freemail accounts giving them my address on my ISP, to which I have already proven my identity, so if I were to do something bad, like commit a crime on the net, I can very easily by tracked down. If somebody invites me to his home, I don't expect to be asked to show my documents on the door - not until I behave correctly. Very bad manners, IMHO - and should also be part of netiquette.. And if some site does ask me to prove my identity, and I am ready to comply, then I should be allowed to use freemail. I don't understand why Harald would allow this only for old accounts, not new ones. Alberto
