This may be off topic, but... I note that the new 500-550-600MHz AMD K7 (alias the "Athlone" processor) requires a new system to handle the 200 MHz bus, and cannot be used as an upgrade former AMD processor systems. Ref. the FAQs at http://www.amd.com/ New K7 systems should be offered by September and will probably be the fastest thing on two wheels. A 1 GHz system based on a refrigerated K7 is also due out soon from http://www.kryotech.com/ --JRM
