You are right that there would have been less trouble the other way.  I didn't
know this at the time.

I would probably still delete the post, rather than sitting around in a state of
paralysis, having people complain all day long that something should be done,
while accusing us collectively of both inaction and bizarre behavior.

I am interested in knowing what Fernando's voters want this place to be like.

Should I have left that dirty joke there indefinitely?  Can anyone post dirty
jokes, or just a few people?  Are there limits on the number of dirty jokes that
can be posted?  Is certainly language not allowed in dirty jokes?  Are other
off-color troll subjects allowed, meaning, can I start a Ginger vs Mary Ann
comparative speculative sexual performance thread?  Maybe we should have a few
hundred posts on Captain Kirk's women.

I would really like to know what to make of this.
