That is the angle that I was attacking.  I think when we start to draw
aspersions upon an individual's character, and run away from the argument
itself, then we are acting like little, petulant children.  If we have an issue,
we should debate the issue and not try to psychoanalyze the original poster.  We
are not qualified to perform that sort of analysis and no one who is qualified
to do so would try do do so on the basis of a few posts to a message board.

I think you have the right to defend yourself against personal attacks.  But
continuing to insist that the post should stand is what I was arguing against.
