Because of the catastrophe in Taiwan, a devastating earthquake which put the country in chaos, there will be a shortage in memory, hard-drive, and motherboards, and CPU's. So if you are thinking of upgrading your PC, now would be a good time to do so because there'll be a shortage of supplies. Taiwan is one of the main countries which manufacturers these computer parts. Also the Y2K bug will put a huge demand for new parts for old computers. So according to the laws of economics, higher demand, low supplier, gives to increase of prices !!! Laurence
