About being commercially available and being identical to the version sold to the public, I think that is a bit relative. Chessbase provides 'updates' on an almost continual basis of which in many cases it is not clear which bugs they are supposed to fix. Other companies maybe rather test a bit longer before they release their programs. I rather hope that Chess Tiger 12.0 is not entirely the version that is going to be released to the public if testing shows that it could still be improved! In my opinion this is not an entirely fair requirement if you were to use it very strictly. Eelco.
