Regardless of how one feels on the issue, the fact remains that only chessbase programs were chosen for the faster computer setup. No amount of "spinning" or creative obfuscation can change that fact. If you have someone who is the legal profession, then they will agree with me that as per Federal Rules of Evidence, circumstantial evidence may be probative and therefore permitted as evidence ( Rule 401 of Federal Rule of Evidence ). The fact that the swedish meatball association failed to incorporate non chessbase programs, and thus skewer the ratings ( to promote sales?? ) allows reasonable people to infer certain conclusions. If you do not agree with those conclusions, that is well within your right. However, don't begin to assail the veracity of those who point out the obvious. I wait with bated breath the response from the defenders of the unholy conspiracy.
