I play manually mainly because I enjoy it this way, and I get more out of it
this way, as any chess programmer will confirm to you. I have enough automated
matches going on at home.

One or two people suggested that crafty should treat manual computers as it
treats human opponents. This is one of those helpful suggestions that did not
register.
