One difference I have noticed is that human players, when losing, may play moves that are objectively not the best, in an attempt to complicate the position and lead their opponent astray. Programs, on the other hand, continue to look for the best moves. It's pretty hard to see that as a "weakness," but it does give the game a different feel.
