Does it happen only if you change them, or do Fritz and Hiarcs have absolutely different parameters that are not refreshed? I think of the following: Fritz engine is loaded, has pawn value (or any other setting) of 100. Now I change to Hiarcs who has a pawn value of 123 as default. What happens? Will Hiarcs use the 123 or take over the 100? Collect them all, make an archive out of it and let Steve provide the archive in the resource center.
