Since they've been trying to get more into the hardware market lately (at least a little bit...), it seems that if they could build such a machine to defeat Kasparov, especially if it were a PC-type thing, it could really give them a boost into this type of market. If that's the sort of thing they're looking for (and what market _isn't_ MS trying to get into? :), I hardly see how they could pass up such a thing. It would be interesting...
