I didn't say they couldn't do it.  I did say it would take on the order of
another 12 years to start from scratch with a new person.  I believe _I_ could
design such a chip myself.  And fortunately I know a lot more about what Hsu
did than most because I was always willing to ask.  But the number of people
that did ask are _very_ scarce...

Can you say "Hello Seymour Cray?"  :)

There have been several such people.


(and yes I know Seymour Cray is deceased.)
