Yes, I think we will see Java-JIT performance. The Code Morphing (TM) seems very
close to HOTSPOT and Juice technologies. A special C.M. for chess would be nice,
but I suspect that one would have to part with a lot of money to get a license.
The high end mobile Crusoe is rumored to be optimized for running  16 (yes 16)
bit code (read win9x). That said I think they will produce some high end
performance chips this year.
