EXACTLY !
and it's the same in motorsports, tennis, human-chess etc. !

the people have problems with the contradictions here.
they want to measure quantity. and complain that a swiss-tournament
is not only about quantity.
it's about the sports-event , the luck and the good preparation.
and about the stress you have to stand competing and deciding the right
decisions. elo-list have a different setting.
there you compete with ONE version, nothing is stress, no pressure,
and only quantity.

right. and this is - as i said - in different field completely the same.

i wonder why people do not understand the difference and see that
the problem is not in the events but in their ununderstandings of the
events.
you have to interprete lists and swiss-events differently.

in the list the quantifying stuff gets counted !
in the event it is the human-stuff, the sports-spirit and
the quality of the moment that counts.
