It requires no technical >competence whatsoever. If you have a 4 CPU machine that's already running NT, then I agree with you. However, most people don't. So you're presented with a few options: 1) buy an SMP NT computer - several thousand dollars 2) install a new motherboard and multiple processors in your current computer - several hundred dollars and a fair amount of expertise #2 probably also involves installing NT. If you're used to installing stuff, this may be easy for you. But I doubt the general population is up to the task. -Tom
