There is no contradiction. Two days before the game we agreed to postpone from
1000 EST to 1200 EST by Adams request. The game did not start on time because of
problems on the Bermuda side, and Seirawan's account resembles Mig's account.

Seirawan treats these delays due to Adams hardware and KC organization as
something that was caused by the opponent.

The account is not accurate about what happened after the game was declared
drawn. Mig did tell Adams that if the game didn't start in 15 minutes he can
claim a forfeit, but nobody in Israel knew of this surprising promise. So when
this deadline passed around 5:15 Adams claimed the forfeit based on Mig's
promise. I reported this here on 5:25, and it agrees with what I wrote that 30
minutes passed from the conclusion of a draw to the demand for forfeit. The part
about the computer "coming back to life" at 5:40 is not true. After the claim
for forfeit came up, we did not try to start a game and nothing happened after
5:15 except talk.

I notice that Seirawan does not show the game or comment on it, and on the KC
site there is no comment by Adams on the game unlike all other rounds.

What is consistent is that everyone in Bermuda thought Adams was going through
an ordeal, and this goes to explain why Mig made this commitment, and why KC
management insisted on giving him the forfeit. Adams still talks on this in his
comments to his Kasparov match, and perhaps feels he's not been compensated
enough.
