No this isn't ok.

And nobody is trying to say its ok for one and not ok for the other.

Or we could try an ICC based tournament.

Proposal:

Weekend (Sat and Sunday) of 6/7th December.
Plus following weekend 13/14th

Start at GMT 17.00. That'll allow USA players to come in at 11.00

Games at roughly one minute per move.
Must use P5, P6 or K6 - whatever MHz can be got, or limit at 233 (?)

3 rounds per day, swiss system. 12 rounds in total

Programmers have first option on entry of their program, otherwise
anyone can volunteer as an operator.
