But loading >a file should be no problem. We had a similar problem when beta testing CSTal. If you copy files off the CD in DOS, no problem. If you copy with Win95, it maintains the read-only status on any files. So, for example, copying the 550Mbyte book to Harddrive in order to edit it via Windows, would leave testers complaining that the book was un-editable. CSTal checks for r/w status and behaves sensibly(ish) if it can't write to such a r/o file.
