Not only you can do a Match between a Winboard Engine and another Chess Program with the enabled 232 Protocol, but also you can do Matches between two Winboard Engines using this experimental 232 Protocol Interface. Like an Interface, I don't think it can have any secret creat, because both Winboard Engines would used it. Relating to the specific 232 Protocol Implementations on Fritz GUI, Chess Partner GUI, etc, I cannot prove that they can have any "secret cheat". > >The point was to avoid to connect two auto232 enebled software directly to each >other. My information is related to use Winboard Engines on the 232 Protocol. I have never detected any strange or repeated message on this protocol. Could you give me some real examples about this? I am really interested if any secret cheat is being sent by any Interface trough the 232 Protocol. The main reason is I do my Testing Computer Matches in two different PCs using the 232 Protocol. Waiting for your timely and early response. >regards >Franz Best Regards, Arturo.
