I'm using crafty exclusively for the moment to iron out bugs. FB is not intended to be wedded only to Crafty; that would be a mistake. I envision a proggie that provides different parameter forms for different engines, like Fritz6 does. When I'm more comfortable with the operation of things, I'll re-release a compiled version. Without legality checking by the board, some rather embarassing things can happen when playing freeboard at the moment!
