Heiner, don't worry about your NPS! What I forget to mention is that I looked
into NPS not for mate solver (still don't have there NPS counter) but by seeing
it in other part of my chess program. There NPS when up in impressive way for
brute force search. If 300k is very good in middle of game (normal position),
NPS counter for blacks went up to 520k. For whites it was not that high, around
350k. Average number of NPS for my program (brute force) in middle of the game
is around 250k on AMD 400Mhz.

Thanks for saying exact number of moves for position! Will write it on my
printed position for later use.
