There's no law that says you have to use the same number you use for choosing moves, and nothing else, to decide whether to offer or accept a draw. I'm sure you can find a way to make the eval be non-zero but still discernibly a certain theoretical draw. Just as checkmates have different scores for different depths but are still all certain wins. Or you could just say: against a GM player you'll accept a draw even if you think you're +0.1. -- g
