Thanks Jeroen I have done all this, but when my computer finds the ERT
File/files it's hidden as I tried properties etc.
Gives me the version, but I can't actually see the files seperately?

I've looked in Gandalf but I can't find all the associated files?

In the download I can use winzip to unzip the new ert.exe using the wizard
then go back and view 6 files plus a read me file.

I suppose I could delete the original after (searh) ert.exe and just drop the
new files in?
But I'm not sure?

Yes I know the Icon is not an exe. only a Shortcut to activate the exe.

So if I delete the folder ert 128KB and manually drop in the new files should
that work?

I'm too use to doing it the easy way with self-extracting patches like chessbase
provides!:o)

Terry missing something most likely obvious! lol
