Not to be misunderstood: I'm in no way saying that you replayed an old variant
of CSS, and I don't think to have seen your variant before. But there was a
discussion going on about this kind of games once in CSS. I think Saturnino
Jirotka came up with this kind of games in CSS, i.e.:

CSS 4/1992 p. 6: Jirotka - ChessMachine 512 KB:
1.e4 e5 2.Lc4 Sf6 3.Sf3 Sxe4 4.Sc3 Sxc3 5.Lxf7+ Kxf7 6.Sxe5+ Ke6 7.Df3 Df6

There are tons more examples from S. Jirotka:
CSS 1/1993 p. 8
CSS 5/1993 p. 6 (Jirotka - Fritz2)
etc.

There was also a great series "Charly's Chess Show" in the years 91-93 fom
Friedhelm Jungmann in CSS where a virtual ape "Charly" beat the chess engines.

A lot of these games use the computers error to go to Ke6 after Lxf7, but this
should be programmed in a clever engine not to do. I was surprised to see that
state of the art engines like Crafty 18.15 still do this. I don't know if Mr.
Hyatt read CSS, but I think he should remeber this anti computer kind of games.

PS: By the way I think you do a good job to show this lack of knowledge of the
engines.
