Mr Hyatt
You may not remember me, but last year I was in CCT4 with my program written in
Quick Basic 4.5. As far I have been able to ascertain it does not support stdin
or stdout so an automatic interface is not possible with my program. I wish that
it was available as it would make my program run a little faster ie. the 10" per
move allowance. If this is the wishes of the group, then I will just have to
conceed to being able to participate in the next tournement.
I purchased a 'C' compiler but as of yet have not even had the time to begin to
study or learn how to program in it. Even if I evnetually do learn how to make a
program the fact remains that I will have to learn how to translate my Basic
program into 'C'. I am sorry to see the requirements go in this direction, but I
think I understand the logic behind it.
