All games were on 2 XP2400+ machines using auto232 Perhaps with 3-4-5 and 6 egtb's the effect may be minimal but I suspect that as the number of pieces in egtb's increases I suspect the elo to go up. I also suspect this would not be a linear effect. However we all know how long and how much space is needed to generate the egtb's beyond 6 but the above statement I beleive still applies. I also had run 1000's of games (crafty vs crafty) with and without tablebases and did not see any noticeable benefit but I am still a believer in them.
