I found that often it is counter productive in tactical suites but the improvement when it is productive is usually bigger then the demage when it is counter productive. I hope to see more option in the next version. 1)option to change the evaluation function such that Junior will be more or less materialistic by evaluation function. 2)option to change other factors in the evaluation function like the value of the pieces 3)option to favour checks and captures more than usually(instead half ply to be 1/3 ply or 1/4 ply). 4)option to do match between engines when after a game you give the winner less time in the next game in orded to find eqvivalent times between engines. 5)option to give a number for king safety and developement and not only to tell Junior on or off in the engine parameters Uri
