Sounds good. You need to become a chess programmer!!!! You would bring many new ideas to the table, I'm sure. I am not a chess programmer but am a dedicated user of the chess software and find a need to understand it. I have made many suggestions and have been told many times that my ideas to make chess-playing programs emulate human thought are "bad." Maybe you could change that perception. Keep in mind that the total worldwide community of chess programmers are, in effect, involved in a research project. Possibly, their products will have applications outside the realm of chess and perhaps not just for "games." Bob D.
