Here some commands for Ruffian in console mode :-) usage: ruffian [options] Book options: -B FILE Use FILE as opening book -I PGN-file Build opening book from PGN-file -D DEPTH Cut book lines at DEPTH -P MINPLAYED Add moves played more then n-times -o Disable opening book Output options: -v Print the version number and exit -d Print diagram -n Print move number before whites move -H Print hash usage -q Suppress all output -l FILE Send log output to FILE Search options: -a Start in analyze mode -N MOVES Start in analyze mode and analyze N-best moves -e Disable Pondering -m DEPTH Max depth Other options: -c FILE Configuration file -C Print default configuration -h SIZE Hash size (xxM, xxK or bytes) -b FEN Load FEN position -x Disable endgame tables Test suite: -T FILE Run an epd test suite from FILE -t SEC Test time (default 10 seconds) -p PLY Extra test ply (default 3) Have fun, Christian On February 28, 2004 at 21:08:50, Peter Skinner wrote: >With all the talk about whether Ruffian is hampered with ponder on settings, I >am wondering how to disable in via Winboard.
