i doubt that the forum has been made to support you to spread gossip and
attack other members by doing it.

it is a fact that the support of auto232 as known in the chessbase gui's is
lousy.
and this has been from the first day of this SPECIAL autoplayer until today.

if it would have been only a bug that occurs sometimes, why is the support still
not working the way that you can measure strength efficiently ?
if it would have been a rare case of a solitary bug, it should now be fixed
after years and years of fixing it ? Or ?

but those bugs are still IN the Gui's !

in fact, if they ever have been fixed, they are new in with the next release of
a program.

if we take the ssdf as an additional help, no problems.
but in the moment we begin saying that THE SSDF says so and so and therefore it
cannot be true that this or that happens, we MISUSE the data.

Its only ONE source of data.

in germany e.g. we have the ADAC lists.
those lists are faked in a very cool way.
e.g. the french cars normally have not so good results.
while the japanese cars are much better. and the big german cars (BMW, Mercedes)
are also very good.

How ?
Mercedes and BMW have special service cars who will help you, so the customer is
not calling ADAC when he has a problem, so the car is not coming into the
statistics.

the ssde should have said NO in the moment somebody came with a changed
autoplayer protocoll. for years all used the same chrilly donninger auto232
stuff.

then suddenly chessbase came with their own stuff.

that was not really compatible.

instead of saying: we are not testing your programs as long as it is not
standard,
they accepted this behavour.

this was IMO the mistake.

how can you make a list where all programmers use tool A while another company
suddenly comes with tool B that makes it impossible for the others to
continue autoplaying ?
