Thanks for your great work. First, do you have a link? :-) Secondly, a question you might know an answer for (very important question for me!). I noticed in your first version that the move counts for moves in the tree were manipulated somehow (1024, 2048 etc. being the norm). I can figure out to do this, and also some reasons, but maybe you can help me do this: Remove all move counts/stats from a *.ctg tree? I can't do it in Fritz 9 or CB 7, but is it possible in later CB versions? My reasons to want to be able to do this: 1) Move counts heavily affect the rate of play, and it can't be adjusted properly by the book parameters (in part because "min games" have 999 as cap). I don't want a low "min games" since that would make a book follow bad games imported to the book. AND, I don't want those move counts to affect the rate of play :-) 2) When updating a book with new games, the stats get screwed up unless you closely keep track of exactly which games you have already imported. Keeping track of this is practically impossible in my experience, and one fault is enough to render the stats permanently flawed. So, my goal is a book with JUST the moves and weights in it, no stats AT ALL. Then stats can already be added by any user by him importing an appropriate game base for him. I have thought out a tricky way to do this: merge tons of games into one, save without elo info, and then import into an empty tree. But it would be SO much easier if there was an option to delete move stats from the tree, AND I wouldn't have to start from scratch. Kind regards, Dagh Nielsen
