This is what I came up with: [FEN "r1nqr1k1/pp3p2/3p2pB/1NpPb2n/2P5/3B3P/PP3P2/R2QK1R1 b Q -"] 1. Bh2+ 2. Kd2 Bxg1 3. Qxg1 Qf6 4. Rb1 [or if 4. Kc2 then, possibly, 4. ...Rb8 5. Bg5 (5. f4 Nxf4 6. Rf1 Ne2 7. Rxf6 Nxg1 looks good for Black) 5. ...Qf3 6. Re1 Rxe1 7. Qxe1 Nf4 8.Bf1 Nxd5 (not 8. ...a6 9. Nc3 b5? 10. Qe8+ Kg7 11. Ne4!+-) 9. cxd5 (9. Qe8+ Kg7-+) 9. ...Qf5+ 10. Bd3 Qxg5 11. Qe8+ Kg7-+] 4. ...Nf4 5. Nc7 Nb6 6. Qg5 (6. Nxe8 Rxe8 7. Bxf4 etc. appears to be good for Black) 6. ...Nxc4+ 7. Kc2 Qxg5 8. Bxg5 Nxh3! (better than ...Nxd3)9. Bh4 Ne5 (or if 9. Bf6 Ne5!) and surely Black is winning? Hope this is 'realistic' enough to be of use... My favorite GUI (by lots) is Chessbase (and has been since 95), the new one is even better. So Fritz 5.32 has been my 'silent' partner, and I'm looking foward to using the *new* Hiarcs as an alternative. (Crafty 15.7 is useful, and I 'must get round to' plumbing in 16.6. So far LGG 2.0 refuses to work with CBase.) I always regret it if I forget to refer to Genius 'x' as well -- also for the 'dourist refutations', CMx000 can be useful! And now, CSTal II, possibly the most 'lifelike' player. All the best Francis
