I have chessbase lite and it operates differently from what I propose.
Chessbase lite will play a move to the destination square even if more than one
piece can go there.  It will then make an "educated guess" then.  If it is not
the move you intended, then the suggestion would qualify as receiving outside
help. Yes?  That is not acceptable while playing a game.  I don't know about how
Shredder 2.0, Fritz 5.32 & Hiarcs 7.32 work.  If they work the same way, can the
"educated guessing" be shut off?  The way Chessbase does it is good for
databases, but not chess playing programs (unless for analysis instead).  Do
these chess playing programs implement "smartmove" in the way I suggest?
