??? As opposed to "natural" chess? What would that be? As far as I can tell,
chess is chess, no matter who or what plays it.

Talking of "artificial"... Limiting the playing ability of a chess player is
artificial, and it is an expression of fear, not one of fairness.

I would like to see them encouraged, and when they happen both opponents should
play at their best.
